TroopHR Launches Today
Today, with great excitement and enthusiasm, I am proud to unveil TroopHR, a national HR network where People Leaders can learn alongside and network with the best minds in the HR industry.
I started Post’d in 2013 with the simple goal of bringing People Professionals together and 8 years later we are now over 2,000 members strong. Over the past year I have had the opportunity to reflect on what matters most to our profession through conversations with HR industry leaders. The culmination of those conversations, along with my own personal experience led to a bigger vision — To create a network where HR leaders can help each other succeed in today’s corporate landscape and maximize their impact on our organizations, a place where we can learn alongside and network with the best minds in HR.
Speaking with these amazing leaders was an eye-opening experience as there were common themes in every conversation, as well as alignment on what needed to be done to push the industry and HR Pros forward.
Here are the main takeaways:
- The role of HR is more important to a company’s success than ever, yet at times HR leaders feel undervalued and underutilized in their organizations.
- HR Pros want access to content where HR and business leaders share hard-earned insights from their own real-world experiences, in order to get actionable insights and practical takeaways they can apply in their own day-to-day.
- HR Pros want to be more well-rounded in their expertise and are interested in focusing career development on topics outside of HR as well, like finance and data analysis.
- HR Pros are so focused on taking care of employees and their organizations that they don’t put enough emphasis on their own emotional well-being and career development.
These ideas and beliefs are what shaped our product offering and content calendar, and I believe we are off to a great start to creating what we set out to do.
